Lesson 26: The Pathway to Courage
Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 9:34AM **This Lesson is part of the January series “30 Pitch Lessons – 30 Days.” Pitch University Pitchfest weeks and Expert-In-Residence weeks kick off the 1st full week in February.**
Lani Jaramo is a writer just like you. She’s on the pathway to publication.
She, like most of you, had never created a video before today’s lesson.
But she had enough courage to do it anyway. She’s not just speaking about courage today, she’s bringing it to life in the creation of her video lesson. Bravo, Lani!
She writes historical fiction. Her writing pertains to the American Revolutionary War, and she’s currently studying to get her Master’s Degree in American Military History, which segues nicely into the title of this lecture . . . “O Captain Prescott, My Captain: The Pathway to Courage.”
Read more (below) about Lani's 15-years of expertise as a Health coach, facilitating change and belief in yourself.

More about Lani: “I’ve given many speeches and lectures about health and making lifestyle improvements, but this is the first time I’ve given a speech about my love for writing and encouragement. Thank you Pitch University and Diane for giving me this opportunity!
“I have been in the health industry for more than 15 years now. I’ve taught floor aerobics, step, kick-boxing, dance aerobics, Pilates and yoga. I also became a certified Weight Management and Lifestyle consultant® through ACE, one, if not the top leading trainers in the health field.
“For years, I’ve taught people how to make lifestyle changes for better health and a better balanced life. It takes a lot of courage to want to change something in your life, I know.
“And as an unpublished author, striving for publication myself, I know changing my life, my career, to become published takes a lot of faith, perseverance, and a bulldog’s sense of determination.

Hi Lani- It's nice to see someone else in the" trenches" post what they think and feel about this topic. No one understands as well as someone else who's going through the same types of things. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Good videos!!
Thanks, Stacey! That means a lot to me!
Lani,
I just found out my post did happen. Here's a retry... Great job on your first video. I totally agree that practice and dedication make all the difference. No one is an alchemist on day one.
